Impact & Specialty Doors
Bidirectional impact doors built to take a beating. Eliason has been making the original Easy Swing double-action traffic door since 1952 — we install them across kitchens, warehouses, freezers, and storefronts.
Engineered for Constant Traffic
Eliason impact doors swing freely in both directions and absorb thousands of bumps per year — carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, hips, shoulders. RHL Enterprises supplies and installs the right Eliason model for kitchens, freezers, warehouses, and stockrooms across Illinois and SE Wisconsin.
Hardware service, gasket replacement, and bumper replacements are part of the long-term relationship.
What Makes an Impact Door an Impact Door
Bidirectional Swing
Push from either side, walk through hands-full, doors snap back to closed. The Easy Swing hinge is the original.
Built for Abuse
Bumpers, kick plates, edge guards, and high-pressure laminate or stainless steel surfaces — designed to survive the cart that hits it daily.
Climate Zone Separation
Gaskets and seals keep cold air in the cooler and conditioned air out of the warehouse — without slowing down traffic.
How an Eliason Door Actually Works
Eliason invented the double-action swinging traffic door in 1952. The Easy Swing hinge lets the door pivot freely in both directions and self-center after each swing — staff push through hands-full, the door snaps back, and the climate zone holds. A porthole window lets you see who's coming the other way before contact.
Six Eliason Categories. Pick the One That Fits the Room.
Different rooms, different abuse profiles, different code requirements. Eliason has a category for each.
Restaurant Doors — Kitchen-to-Dining Traffic
Built for the path between the kitchen and the dining room: bidirectional swing for hands-full waitstaff, sealed surfaces for hygiene compliance, porthole windows so nobody gets clocked walking through.
Retail & Supermarket Doors — Stock Room to Sales Floor
High-frequency openings between back-of-house and the sales floor. Built to handle stock carts, U-boats, and forklifts crossing through dozens of times a day without becoming the bottleneck.
Industrial Doors — Warehouse, Manufacturing, Loading
From flexible PVC traffic curtains to rigid full-thickness doors. Built for forklifts, pallet jacks, and constant equipment crossings without buckling, splintering, or losing alignment.
Food Processing & Cold Storage Doors — Climate Zone Separation
Insulated impact doors and flexible belting traffic doors for coolers, freezers, and food processing facilities. The FLT-400 is built from -30°F-rated USDA-accepted belting for serious cold-storage duty.
Gates & Café Doors — Visual Separation, Easy Access
Half-height swinging gates and café-style doors for pass-throughs, host stands, server stations, and back-of-house transitions where you need a visual barrier but not a wall.
Designer Series — Custom Graphics, Windows, Laminates
When the door has to read like part of the brand. Eliason's Designer Series adds custom graphics, branded laminates, oversized windows, and impact-protection options to any base model.
Pick the Material to Match the Room
Different rooms produce different abuse. Eliason offers a material spec for each — nothing is one-size-fits-all.
